The Coalition of Progressive Electors was formed in 1968 as a coalition of the Vancouver and District Labour Council, housing activists, and residents concerned with the municipal government's inaction on important issues for working people. COPE is committed to a just and sustainable city and will work to achieve this by providing options to meet basic needs that reduce emissions and support environmental well-being. COPE is a strong and vocal opponent of development and resource exploitation that endangers the health and well-being of our planet and future generations.

COPE has three explicit purposes: to unite individuals and groups behind a program of progressive civic reform; to involve Vancouver residents and community organizations in public action in furtherance of their interests and the collective interests of Vancouver; and to nominate and endorse candidates for election to civic office in order to promote these purposes, and to provide direction and guidance to such candidates, both before and after they have been elected.

I designed campaign materials for COPE for the 2014 Vancouver civic election, including printed flyers, lawn signs, and social media graphics.
